AMMI and GGE biplot analysis of yield of different wheat varieties under irrigated and moisture-restricted environments

Wheat is an important winter cereal of Nepal but drought limits its production as 34.44% wheat producing area under non-irrigated environment. The identification high yielding potential varieties with stable performance environment may be the way forward to cope limited productivity. So, in this study, effect genotype by interaction on yield fourteen and two promising lines environmental conditions, irrigated moisture-restricted environments were inspected. research was carried out a randomized complete block design three replication each result showed significant difference between grain moisture restricted environments. In environment, highest obtained BL 4341 lowest Gautam while NL 1327 297. reduced 43.28% comparison AMMI analysis revealed that genotype, genotype-environment highly for yield, these explained 15.78%, 71.55%, 12.66% respectively. which-won-where polygon view GGE biplot vertex winning Furthermore, mean-versus-stability pattern identified Bhrikuti variety 1368 Banganga produced below average yield.
